The view of Mars from Großauheim
December 2020, Großauheim – From “Economy at Main and Kinzig”, Reinhold Schlitt:
Why fly to Mars if you want to know whether there is water vapor in the atmosphere there? “That,” says Oleg Cojocari, a natural scientist, engineer and managing director of Hanau-based ACST-GmbH, “can also be found out from a great distance.”
And before you know it, the engineer has arrived in the world of terahertz applications and is raving about measurement systems that make ultrahigh-frequency technology their own. Diodes, components and modules for such systems are built by very few companies throughout Europe; ACST in Hanau’s Großaufheim district is one of them.
