Optimized for operation in varistor mode.

ACST offers several types of Schottky diodes, optimized for operation in varistor mode at mm-waves and THz frequencies.
They differ in structure layout, number of anodes, dedicated frequency range, and mounting approach. ACST varistor diodes feature ultra-low series resistance and near-theoretical ideality factor.

These parameters make them best suited for building frequency mixers (frequency down-conversion) but are also suited for other applications like frequency multipliers, RF resistors, power detectors, etc.

Product List

Series 2MAF

2MAFxx diodes are developed for frequencies up to about 1000GHz. They feature ultra-low junction capacitance and strongly reduced geometry, which make them best suitable for operation at sum-mm-waves and THz frequencies.

Series 3MAS

3MASxx diodes are developed for frequencies up to about 500GHz. They feature ultra-low junction capacitance but relatively large pad geometry for easier handling and mounting procedures.

Series 4RSF

4RSFxx diodes are developed for frequencies up to about 250GHz. Geometrically they are relatively large for easy handling and mounting procedures.
